Alright
so I am officially training a peruvian. She is gordita and sweet and
talks really quiet. She has only been a member of the church for a year and a
half and so she doesnt know very much about the gospel to teach it. With
time, she will be able to pull it off. We are practicing and studying a
ton so that we can teach together. It is sure a change to be training
again. I also have to teach her how to clean and be clean. But
overall, she is great and has a lot of energy for the work. I am super
impressed with her story because she got baptized after one week of knowing the
elders and a day after she recieved an answer. Anything is
possible!
Here
it is hard enough getting the people go to church, let alone baptism! We
are still working with Alejandra and her kids and they are progressing but it
is hard for her to accept that the church is the only true church. She is
catholic and doesnt want to leave her traditions because of what her parents
and boyfriend think. But we have been finding a ton of new people...even
a prostitute! Looks like this is going to be a very busy and fun last
stretch.
